Mochy wins 3rd Munich Open 2014

For the second consecutive year, the Japanese backgammon players conquered Munich!

After Michihito "Michi" Kageyama  in 2013, his fellow countryman, World Champion and current No. 1 Backgammon Giant, Masayuki "Mochy" Mochizuki came all the way from Tokyo to win the 3rd Munich Backgammon Open in July 2014, along with the very unique trophy, representing the World´s Beer Capital. Congratulations Mochy !

Kudos also to all other winners: 2nd place: Thomas Dettler (Germany), 3rd place: Michel Lamote (Belgium), 4th place: Rune Faerevag (Norway), Winner Ultimate Fight: Hilmi Göchan (Turkey), Doubles Winners: Ricardo Malas (Lebanon/Spain) & Kimon Papachristopoulos (Greece/Germany), Warm-up winner: Yasar Gözel (Turkey), Speedgammon Winner: Jan Strastna (Czech Republich), DMP Winner: Chiva Tafazzoli (Iran/Germany), as well as the special award winners: Yuki Hiroki (Japan), Tobias Hellwag (Germany), Ricardo Malas (Lebanon/Spain).
