3rd Munich Open 2014

The MUNICH OPEN is a World Backgammon Association (WBA) event, ensuring the highest class of tournaments with the most up-to-date rules, the best professional equipment provided, and the most competitive and challenging format. Every match of the Elite Group division will count for the WBA Point Race ranking list 2014. Like all other WBA tournaments, all divisions will enjoy the new and improved FT-Swiss Format (out after 3 losses in a Swiss format) and an Ultimate Fight (Last Chance) on Sunday. Various side-events are lined up: DMP-Challenge, Doubles, Jackpots, Speed-Gammon, Warm-up, etc. 

Selected matches will be recorded and streamed over the internet.

This event counts towards the German National Ranking.

Elite Group: 435 € entry + 65 € registration / optional side-pool: 150 € (95% return) /9 points matches, Ultimate Fight 5 points, clocks mandatory
Leisure Group: 160 € entry + 40 € registration / optional side-pool: 50 € (95% return) / 7 points matches, Ultimate Fight 5 points, clock preference
Doubles: 200 € entry + 50 € registration per team / 7 point matches, clocks mandatory
Social guests: 10 € including Sunday "Free Beer Awards"

All entry fees will be returned at 100% to the winners.
